Breakfast sausage
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
Eggs
  • 8 eggs, scrambled
Sharp cheddar
  • 1.5 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
Bacon
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Jalapeños
  • 1 sliced jalapeños Optional
Hot sauce
  • 1 hot sauce Optional
Butter glaze
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning Plus more for sprinkling

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Prep and assemble
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish so the sliders won’t stick.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms together for easy stacking.
  3. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish and add a layer of scrambled eggs.
  4. Add the cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage over the eggs.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly across the sausage layer.
  6. Add sliced jalapeños over the layers (if using).
  7. Add the shredded sharp cheddar so it melts into every bite.
  8. Place the top halves over everything to form the slider sandwiches.
Glaze and bake
  1. Whisk the butter glaze (melted butter, Dijon, garlic powder, and Worcestershire) until smooth.
  2. Brush the glaze generously over the tops for a glossy finish.
  3. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the glazed tops for savory crunch.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, until the sliders are golden and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Pro tip: If your eggs are very soft, spread them in a thin layer so the sliders bake evenly without sliding. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days; reheat in the oven at 325°F until warmed through. Freezing is not recommended because the rolls lose texture after thawing. To make it slightly lighter, swap turkey breakfast sausage for the breakfast sausage while keeping the same layering.
